The weather was great and we are ready to start our cruise around the Bay of Islands, from the port of Paihia to our overnight anchorage at the Electric Bay. Together with The Rock Adventure crew members, Sam, Nicole, and Sierra, to accompany us to the new adventures ahead of us. We have guests coming from different places of the world prepared for an entirely new environment. Having enough excitement, and finally, we were here in the huge boat and settled down in the water.

A time to spend with our loved ones to enjoy their company, to listen to their thoughts, talk about their expectations, and who will laugh it off with you.

Travelling in a foreign country rarely goes to plan and besides, a very lucky incident to make great stories. I reached out to someone to share about his opinions about things or places to see, it worked out for the best us and led us to interesting things they wouldn’t typically do. We are surrounded by beautiful people to inspire each other despite our own personal adversity because the more you give out positively the more you get pleased.
Enjoyed being able to breathe easier during and after a day at the ocean. Our first trip of the day is an exciting event we looked forward to where we can focus our attention on. When a collection of people together guides their mental energy for a positive outcome, it leads us by constantly finding encouragement and keeps us going to our destination. The power of ocean therapy is thought to be stronger than any medication, not only for people going through tough times, proven to increase mental alertness, build self-esteem, and decrease loneliness providing a warm and fulfilling feeling that indeed all of us desire.

The vastness of the ocean and the mountain backdrop of the Bay of Islands just relieves the stress putting us into a mild meditative state. Listening to the ocean waves rolling in and out, the ocean sound reduces the distress and creates a sense of calmness. It was the best moment to think about what we were leaving behind, the busy city and the endless talking on the phone. We reached our destination for the second day of the trip, the island visit at the Waewaetores passage. Its beach is perfect simply because there are so many possible things to do, to head out into the water like kayaking, snorkelling, dusk fishing, target shooting, and paddle-boarding, or you can just stay on the beach to chill out.
The heat of the sun, the sound of the waves, and your feet in the sand can help to fight off any feelings of anxiety and stress. Whether you’re swimming in the ocean, walking in the sand, or going for a hike to the top of the island, there are endless opportunities to make at the Bay of Islands. We had a very wonderful and memorable cruising experience for the past two days just enough to make a person forget the past, leave them behind, and focus the attention on what the future begets.
