Paihia Map1 copy.jpg To get from Auckland to Paihia, Bay of Islands.

Take State Highway 1 north out of Auckland. (This is the main North/South Motorway that runs through Auckland.)
From Kawakawa the Bay of Islands is signposted.
The Paihia Wharf is in the middle of the small township and is easy to spot on your right hand side as you drive into town.

The map to the right shows where to park once you reach Paihia as well as where to meet the boat.

Alternatively you can fly from Auckland on an domestic flight into Kerikeri just twenty minutes from Paihia
